Jack Rupe is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from San Marcos, CA who attends Mission Hills. Rupe has a taller frame with a lanky projectable build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short quick arm action. He hides the ball well in his delivery. Rupe gets closed at balance point and opens his lower half early. He will throw harder with some lower half adjustments. Rupe gets some sink on his fastball and and showed feel for his change up at 72 MPH. His change up gets good sink and run on it. Rupe also throws an 11/5 slider and throws all 3 pitches for strikes. He has developing actions in the outfield with arm strength. At the plate, He swings on a line drive path and made consistent contact. Developing hitting tools. Excellent student.
