Ian Bach is a 2014 C/3B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Union, KY who attends Covington Catholic HS. Medium athletic build, very good present strength. Low set up receiving, has strong hands, good shifting and blocking ability, has loose hips and some quickness, good transfer and release, playable raw arm strength. Right handed hitter, narrow stance, gets out to his front side early, aggressive hitter, will over swing at times and pull head off, best swings are short, quick and balanced, has strength at contact and the ball comes off the barrel hard, has some gap power.
