Josh Heinz is a 2012 C/3B with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from Castaic, CA who attends West Ranch. Athletic build with strength. Strong arm behind the plate, accuracy is good as well. Athletic with actions behind the plate, recieved velocity well in games. Slightly open stance at plate, small leg kick trigger. Strength at contact point, balanced, and stays on ball. Made solid barrel contact with pop. Has bat speed and is long thru the ball. Aggressive approach, hits ball out front, and pulls it with authority. High finish and bat speed will equal power in future. Good student. Named to Top Prospect Team.
