Slater Lee is a 2013 RHP/3B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends Carlsbad. Medium build. Solid clean mechaincs. Arm action is short and easy and he repeats it well. Ball comes out easy. Consistent low 80s velocity. Gets extension and releases out front, throws downhill. Fastball has arm side run. Very good feel for 11/5 curveball, throws it for strikes with same arm action as fastball. Changeup has potential as #3 pitch. Hands are clean on infield, solid actions, more suited for 3B. Slightly open stance at plate, leg kick trigger. Short swing with pull approach. Showed strength in swing. Good student. Named to Top Prospect Team.
