Branden Kelliher is a 2014 RHP/MIF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Lake Stevens, WA who attends Lake Stevens HS. Slender young middle infielder's build. Athletic delivery with some energy, high 3/4's arm slot, works downhill well, good athlete and repeats delivery, fast arm. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, gets good run and sink on fastball down, tries to pitch to spots. Hard spinning curveball with deep 12/6 shape, hard pitch to command but knee buckler when located. Nice change up with good arm speed and late life. Has all three pitches and mixes well and knows how to pitch. Key will be fine tuning command and consistency, stuff is there. Good student, verbal commitment to San Diego.
