Tyson Albert is a 2013 RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Nokomis, FL who attends Venice HS. Compact strong athletic build. Compact arm action, 3/4's arm slot, balanced on line delivery, repeats well. Fastball to 83 mph, have seen up to 85 mph in the past, good sink and running action, pitches aggressively with his fastball and pitches to contact. Low 70's curveball with some 11/5 depth, nice feel for change up with some sink and running action. Pounds the strike zone and gets early count ground balls, makes the hitters swing the bat. Good student, signed with St. Petersburg College.
