Marion McLean is a 2013 RHP/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Brophy College Prep. Solid athletic build, good present strength. Hand drop delivery, compact high arm circle, high 3/4's release, bit cross body, stays balanced and throws easily. Fastball to 81 mph, mostly straight but hits spots with the pitch. Slurve type breaking ball, gets good spin and bite at lower velocities, will throw through break occasionally for slider effect, competes well on the mound. Left handed hitter, loose and easy swing mechanics, could barrel up more. 7.18 runner, showed arm strength in the infield, solid infield actions at third base. Good student.
