Andariese is a 6-1 right handed hitting junior outfielder from Virginia with a very projectable athletic frame and some present strength. He has wide sloping shoulders and could be a strong young man some day. Andariese ran the 60 in 7.66 but showed better quickness and speed running the bases. He has a 75 mph arm from the outfield. At the plate, Andariese has a wide stance with a high back elbow. He has a good rock back, rock in load and a powerful extended swing that has loft and bat speed to it. Andariese took a very good batting practice and backed that up in game action with a 3-3 game that included a scalded double off the left field fence. He has a mature approach at the plate and showed patience and the ability to fight off breaking pitches he couldn’t handle. With his approach and present skills, Andariese could develop into a very productive hitter at the next level if he continues to get stronger. The rest of his tools will play, especially with his good instincts. Andariese is a good student.
