2012 Midwest Top Prospect Showcase
Mitch Stickney is a 2013 OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Marion, IA who attends Linn Mar. Long, lean frame with lots of projection in body. Continued improvement over multiple PG showcases and leagues. Good defensive outfielder, light on feet, arm is long arm loose, continues to project. Online throws, arm is very playable. Right handed hitter, quiet approach with little movement. Gets to ball easily, ball comes off well. Squares it up and shows ability to hit to all fields. Long path to it but shows bat quickness and potential for power as body continues to add strength. Good student.
