PG Grade: 8
Michael Clayton is a 2005 1B/P from Miami, FL. He is a very strong 6'1", 190 lb. athlete who has obviously worked hard on his body and conditioning. He has some stiffness in his swing but showed good bat head skills in games and some power in batting practice. He can probably overpower the ball with metal in his hands and would do better with wood with some sort of load or trigger. Clayton is a good athlete for his size, with playable speed and very good arm strength and could likely be a good defender at a corner outfield spot or even at third base. Clayton also threw an inning from the mound, hitting 83 mph with his fastball from a sidearm release point. Very interesting follow!
