Michael Camarillo is a 2006, 5'7" second baseman from Natalia, Texas. He hits from a narrow stance close to the plate with a short load and stride. Camarillo is a rotational type hitter with low hands, and made good pull contact with a line drive swing and a quick stroke. There is no wasted movement in his swing and allows him to making consistent contact. Defensively, Camarillo is hurt by his lack of lower body life and quickness, and this is one thing that he’s going to really have to work on if he wants to play at the highest levels.
