Lamar Guy is an athletic strong 6'0/180 OF from Sanford, FL. He has a big league body and MLB tools. He ran a 6.78 60 and showed a playable outfield arm. He has outstanding instincts and defensive OF actions. He can really mash out of his high hands set up. His swing is short, almost choppy, but he makes solid hard contact. He projects to hit with good power. Guy is first and foremost an athlete who could develop into a MLB player down the road. He will create scouting interest for next June's draft. Lamar is a very good student.
