Dustin Averett is a 2010 C/RHP with a 6'2'', 185 lb. frame from Columbus, GA who attends Shaw HS. Big athletic frame, projects well. Good catching actions, strong arm, good release, 1.91 best pop. Good hitting approach, keeps weight back very well, can hit off speed, has some bat speed, solid pull contact, could extend better for more pop. Also pitched, FB to 83 mph with life, more lower half could add velo. Excellent student.
