John LaCorte is 2007 RHP/MIF from Yearling HS in Whitehall, OH, with a 6'1", 175 lb. frame. John shows an athletic body that produced smooth actions on the field. At the plate John has a simple swing with a good load that produces good contact consistenly and helped him turn on the ball well. On the mound John has a smooth and effortless delivery with good balance that makes him efficient with his pitches. He works quick on the mound and displays a sharp 11 to 5 CB that he throws for strikes. John shows his highest ceiling on the mound where he throws strikes with a smooth and easy actions. He is a solid student who should peak the interest of mid-level college teams.
