Matt Bergquist is a 2009 SS/3B with a 6'0'', 180 lb. frame from Orange Park, FL who attends Eagle's View Academy. Bergquist has an athletic build and very good actions in the infield. He has excellent hands with a quick release and his throws carry well across the diamond. He hits hard line drives to all fields and shows bat speed. He has strength in his swing and the ball jumps off his bat. He looked good in the games and can flat out play. He is also an outstanding student.
