PG Grade: 7
Hunter Scott is a medium bodied 2005 middle infielder from Marble Falls, TX, with some good tools that are presently a little raw . He has good actions in the field with a smooth arm action and low, natural release on his throws. He shows MLB average arm strength across the infield. Scott has some body life and runs with some good first step quickness. At the plate, Scott showed us some power with a hard, long fly ball to centerfield and a long foul home run. Scott pulls off some and has some loop in his swing, so when he’s off his timing, he’s going to be under the ball. However, Scott showed the potential to become a very good hitter. He looks like a good young player to follow. Scott has a chance to play at a high level.
