Jasper Sarkany is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Maple Valley, WA who attends Tahoma Senior HS. Started the event off clocking a 4.94 40-yard dash. A primary pitcher, secondary outfielder. Features a taller athletic build with some projection. In the OF, showed developing actions. Real aggressive approach to start but there is noticeable hesitation and stiffness to the glovework where at times it turned over late and got down late. Worked into a couple extra shuffles post reception which hurt some quickness to release. Arm did show pretty well, using a full/loose action that got off downhill accurate throws with above avg. strength (82 mph). At the plate, worked from a wider base and uses a simple/quick forward move as hands load the barrel into a flatter launch. Hands throw the barrel on a more direct/steeper barrel path to the baseball causing a majority GB results during his round. Was more out front contact in terms of approach but best results were low liners he sent through the middle of the field. Inconsistent timing and barrel accuracy but was balanced on all swings. Avg. bat/hand speed. On the mound is where he showed his best upside. Starter operation working with ease, control and balance throughout. Slower drop and drift phase but works with some late intent and finishes on-line. Medium arm path/circle in the back that works continuous to release out of a normal 3/4 slot. Ran his FB up to 81, living in the upper 70s which he located well to all quadrants. Mixed in a quality slurvy breaker in the upper 60s that produced some whiffs and a developing depthy CH he killed some spin on. Named to Top Prospects List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
