Eddy Ricciardi is a 2007 catcher with a 6'1'', 190 lb. frame from Pickering, Ontario, who attends St. Mary Catholic. Ricciardi has a medium frame with present strength in his body. He shows solid arm strength (72 mph) from behind the plate on his throws to second base. He also produced solid pop times around 2.00. Ricciardi handled the different pitchers well. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from an even stance with an average base. Ricciardi has bat speed. He uses a short path to the ball, and makes consistent line drive contact. He gets rotational with his upper half at times. Ricciardi does have strength in his swing and shows projectable power.
