Chad Donaldson is a 2008 LHP/OF with a 6'4'', 190 lb. frame from Ellisville MO, who attends Home schooled. Named to Top Prospect Team. Donaldson has a tall body with a lean build. He has a projectable frame with an athletic build. Donaldson pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm action. He has a very repeatable delivery and does so consistently. Donaldson pitches with a low effort delivery and is aggressive in the strike zone. He can finish his pitches better so he will stay consistently down in the zone with more life. Donaldson throws a change-up with good sink on it. He also throws a big curveball with loose spin to it. At the plate, Donaldson starts with a slightly open stance with a wide base. He looks to pull the ball and gets extended well in his swing. Donaldson has leverage at contact and has solid power potential. He has solid tools and has projectable velocity.
