Alex San Juan is a 2008 C that attends Christopher Columbus HS and resides in Miami, FL with a 5'9", 154 lb. frame. Alex has a lean athletic build with room to fill out. At the plate Alex shows good swing fundamentals with nice bat speed and solid line-drive contact. He is a patient hitter with a quiet approach. Alex has nice projection at the plate and once he gets stronger he should see good improvement in his offensive game. Behind the plate Alex has solid arm strength with an accurate arm. He needs to work on speeding up his transfer and release some. Alex is a solid student that could attract the attention of many smaller colleges.
