2024 National Showcase
Owen Gregg is a 2025 SS/2B/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Oakville, ON who attends Appleby College. Medium athletic build with some present strength. 6.70 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, is light on his feet and moves smoothly and low to the ground to both sides, obvious athleticism on the move, quick glove to hand exchange, arm is playable but helped by a quick release and accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread straight stance with a high hand load, hands are quick and are short and tight through the zone, worked mostly gap to gap but flashed the ability to turn the barrel, high contact swing approach with projectable bat speed. Very good student, verbal commitment to Utah.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
