Dillon Garback is a 5'11" 175 pound 2006 middle infielder from Bradenton, Florida who attends Lakewood Ranch High School. Dillon has a very strong arm across the infield which he showed by throwing 82 mph during the workout. He is a very aggressive player who takes charge in the field. He has soft hands with good actions on ground balls. He has a quick release and an easy arm action on his throws as well. Garback is a line drive hitter who uses the whole field. He stays inside the ball very well and has the ability to adjust to pitches with his hands. He has excellent bat control with a level swing. Garback has gap to gap power which should improve as he gets stronger. He seems to be a top of the order type hitter. Dillon competes and plays hard and is an excellent student as well with a 3.7 gpa and a 1580 on his SAT.
