2022 Uncommitted Main Event Showcase (2023 Grads)
Jaime Bonilla Mattei is a 2023 OF with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Ponce, PR who attends Lysander Borrero Terry HS. Recorded a 7.36 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic, long frame with lots of room to add strength. Primary outfielder with long strides and fields off to the side. Clean funnel to the throwing hand with fluidity throughout. Longer arm stroke with good accuracy and throws up to 78 mph. Also worked out from secondary position of first base. Right-handed hitter with an upright stance, lower hands, and an upper half dominant swing. Generates good lift and carry off the baseball. Flashed some leverage out in front. Hit tool showed out in games with an opposite field double down the line. Tremendous student. Named to the 2022 Uncommitted Main Event TP List.
