Charles Klepac is a 2008 RHP/1B that attends Bay City HS and resides in Bay City, TX with a 6'4", 215 lb. frame. Charles has a tall athletic build and an ideal pitcher's build. On the mound Charles throws with a short arm action and is able to produce good armside run on his fastball. When he stays on top of the ball Charles shows the making of a solid curveball. His command was a little eratic at times and he needs to make sure he keeps his focus on the mound. At the plate Charles shows a line-drive swing path and some pop when he makes contact. His swing is quite long right now and he will need to work on shortening up and getting his hands inside the ball more. In the field Charles makes a great target at first base and shows off a solid set of hands. Charles is a very strong student that could attract the attention of many smaller academic schools.
