Miguel Rojas is a 2008 RHP/2B with a 5'9'', 155 lb. frame from Sunrise, Florida, who attends Maestro Ladi High School. He has a good frame for his build with build.. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot and he hides the ball well. Rojas uses a drop and drive delivery with clean mechanics and good arm action. He locates his fastball well, and he throws a 10 to 4 sharp curveball at 68 mph with late bite. He did a good job getting outs during his time on the mound, and shows good upside. Defensively he has soft hands in the middle of the diamond, and has smooth footwork to get in good fielding position. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a straight away stance with a high hand set. There is bat movement pre-pitch, but he calms the bad down and gets his hands in position to hit.
