Cody Collins is a 2023 RHP/MIF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Fortuna, CA who attends Fortuna Union. Lean, athletic build with good amounts of strength to both halves that project going forward. Right-handed pitcher, coils well into his high three-quarter delivery. Fastball up to low-to-mid-80s and commanded well to all quadrants. Flashed pair of distinct breakers with a sharp curveball and hard, tight slider in the mid-70s. Works down the plane well with efficient direction. Showcased arm strength during his infield and outfield drills with the ability to field in the middle of his stance. Turns and goes with the glove with accurate strikes to the bag. Quick turns during first base drills and the arm shows. Right-handed hitter, creates separation from a wide base with intent to the pull side. Strong hands match plane with more in store. Very good student.
