Brody Mauro is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Fair Haven, NJ who attends Ranney. Mauro works from a long limbed and still plenty projectable build with developing strength present. From the OF, he showcased solid buildup footwork with a clean arm action and carry behind throws up to 81 mph. He controlled the movements well with additional arm strength on the way. On the mound, Mauro utilized a big rocker step with a coiled leg lift, remaining balanced over the rubber well to pound the zone for strikes up to 78 mph. He generated lots of arm speed for his age with developing spin on the SL up to 2048 rpm. Offensively, the lefty started from a wider slightly open stance with a high hand set and low back elbow, flashing good feel for the barrel to create impact when on time. The strength projects well long term, posting an exit velo of 81 mph. Ran a 7.11 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.
