Victor Rasor-Thompson is a 2008 MIF with a 6'0'', 165 lb. frame from Los Gatos CA, who attends Westmont HS. He has a lean, wiry strong build on an athletic body. Rasor-Thompson is a solid all-around college baseball prospect. His bat should draw attention and continue to get better. He showed some strength with the bat and a flat swing on both sides of the plate. His left handed stroke is quick and easy and on the right side he showed good rhythm. On both sides he had a consistently good hand path. He looked more likely to hit for a higher average on the left side and for more power on the right side. In any case, his bat is a good tool that will keep getting better. Defensively Rasor-Thompson also has some ability. He plays up the middle in high school but is likely to move to 3rd base in college. He has a plus set-up, good feet, and soft hands, with a strong, loose and accurate arm that will play well at 3rd base. It is his foot speed and range that will move him off shortstop beyond high school. Rasor-Thompson is a solid student and a good ballplayer.
