Craig Anderson is a 2008 OF/P from Passaic Valley HS, residing in Little Falls, New Jersey, with a 6'1"/195 pound frame. Craig has a solid frame. He hits from an open stance with a knee lift trigger. Anderson has a no stride approach with a line drive swing plane. He has solid hands at the plate and makes consistent contact. He does pull off the ball at times which takes away power. Anderson has long arm action from the outfield with a good arm at 88 mph. He gets behind the ball well but needs to shorten his release. On the mound, Craig pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with long arm action. He has solid mechanics but needs to improve his command. His fastball has life at 85 mph. Anderson has a solid curveball at 74 mph and his changeup has slight sink at 77 mph. Craig is a good student.
