Michael Martinez is a 2008 SS/2B from Seton Hall Prep, residing in Wayne, New Jersey, with a 5'11"/165 pound frame. Michael has a lean frame. He hits from a slightly open stance with a no stride approach and an inside out swing. Martinez is a solid line drive hitter and makes consistent contact. He will pull off the ball at times and needs to increase his bat speed. He has soft hands in the infield with solid feet and range. Michael is smooth defensively with an accurate arm at 75 mph. He needs to continue strengthening his arm. Martinez is an excellent student.
