A.J. Rusbarsky is a 2007 SS/2B with a 5'9'', 165 lb. frame from Freehold NJ, who attends Colts Neck. Rusbarsky has a shorter body with a stocky build. Defensively, Rusbarsky has good range and can get to a lot of balls. He has good footwork and moves to the ball well. Rusbarsky has quick hands with quick transfers and release. He plays the game hard defensively. At the plate, Rusbarsky starts with an even stance with a wide base. He uses a high leg lift to start his swing and lands hard on his front foot. He has a quick bat with quick hands through the zone. Rusbarsky has a good swing with a nice simple swing. He made consistent solid contact throughout the event and showed gap to gap power in game. Rusbarsky gets the barrel to the baseball and gets good carry on the ball when he centers it up. Rusbarsky is a good student.
