Chase Sortor is a 2015 1B/3B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Temple, TX who attends Belton HS. Big strong physical build. Right handed hitter, high hand set up, open stance with a late close, front side will fly open early at times, can simplify approach and direction. Strong swing with present bat speed, good loose extension out front for power, ball comes off the barrel well, hits under control and has an idea how to hit, projects well as a next level hitter. 7.56 runner, good footwork around the bag on defense, can improve technique and ability in picking balls on throws. Good student.
