Chris McCrady is a 2015 RHP with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Porter, TX who attends Porter HS. Tall lean athletic build. Medium length arm action, 3/4's arm slot coming through, balanced delivery with some energy at release, stays tall and works with good downhill angle to the plate. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight. Stays on top of curveball well and gets good downer break and shape to the pitch, showed the ability to work his curveball well to left handed hitters. Developing change up. Commanded all his pitches well and showed the ability to mix pitches. Right handed hitter, toe tap trigger, opens front side early, inside hand path to the ball, spray line drive contact. Good student.
