Bryce Kearns is a 2015 RHP/SS with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Dexter, IA who attends West Central Valley HS. Tall slender narrow chested build, lots of room to add strength. Simple turn and throw delivery with some drop and drive back side collapse, high arm action with a pause at the top, arm works well coming through, mid 3/4's to standard 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, big running action at times, primary fastball pitcher, pitches aggressively and fills up the strike zone. Short slurve type breaking ball flashes some spin and bite at higher velocities. Projects to throw harder in the future. Right handed hitter, similar backside collapse at contact as when pitching, level line drive swing, short path for his size, spray line drive contact.
