Richardson is a strong 6-0, 200 junior corner infielder from Florida who also has experience catching. He ran the 60 in 7.49 and threw 73 mph during infield drills. He showed good defensive actions at third base and a short, quick release. He’ll need to work on his first step quickness in the future. At the plate, Richardson has a leg lift trigger and rock back load and does a good job generating bat speed with a short, compact swing. He has a line drive pull approach and likes the ball down in the strike zone. Better extension through the ball will help his power production in the future. Richardson is also and outstanding student.
