Trent Allen is a 2016 LHP with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Southlake Carroll. Extra large frame with long limbs and a lean, projectable build. Left handed pitcher who works from a three-quarter arm slot with a short arm action in the back. Works from a full delivery with hands going over his head, hiding the ball well throughout. Occasionally gets across his body.Fastball topped at 80 mph, showing natural cut and shows arm side run at times. Fills up the strike zone with all three pitches, a short breaking slider at 74 mph and a changeup which flashes fade to his arm side.
