Andrew Miller is a 2015 LHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Chapel Hill, NC who attends Chapel Hill. Medium, lean build with room to fill out. Good athlete. Ran a 7.27 60 yard dash. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and a fluid arm path. Has easy, lower effort mechanics. Shows good arm speed and pitches at 76-78 mph with his fastball. Mixes an 11-5 breaking ball that he knows how to vary with speed and shape. Needs to work down in the strike zone. Good feel for a changeup. Bats left-handed, works from a squared stance and stays inside the ball. Makes consistent contact and hits to the middle of the field. Aggressive approach. Arm works well from the outfield and throws have carry. Makes accurate throws with sound actions. Excellent student.
