Jourdon Wydra is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Bristol, CT who attends Bristol Eastern. Tall, projectable frame with long limbs. Throws from a high three-quarter arm slot and throws slightly across his body. Has a short, repeatable arm action and commands his fastball well at 78-81 mph. Also shows a feel for a 11-5 curveball that would occasionally show closer to 12-6 break. Throws his curveball for strikes and also shows feel for a 75 mph changeup. Also played the field, shows carry on his throws from the outfield. Bats right-handed, works from a slightly open, upright setup and uses a small leg lift. Gets good extension and uses his lower half. Has some lift and knows how to drive the ball.
