CJ Collins is a 2014 3B/RHP with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Waco, TX who attends Bosqueville. Has a large athletic frame with a solid build. Has good arm strength across the infield with accurate online carry, works through the ball well. Has fluid good actions with lateral quickness which allows him to get to balls deep in the hole. Has a line drive swing plane with an aggressive swing, lets the ball travel, makes solid contact with bat speed and is a gap to gap hitter. Pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a long AA, smooth deliberate delivery with a high leg kick, throws his curveball with 11-5 break. Is a good student and a interesting prospect to continue to follow.
