Casey Cooper is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Notre Dame Prep. Medium frame, long thin build. Pitches from a three quarters arm slot. Short stride, simple mechanics, can get more momentum to plate with longer stride and stronger leg drive. Hides the baseball well throughout delivery, pitches exclusively from the stretch, fastball tails to the arm side, 11-5 shape on slider. Deep hand load at the plate, pullside approach, contact hitter, rotational swing with good balance. Very good student.
