Matt Young is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Reno, NV who attends Reno. Medium frame, thin build with room to fil/ Pitches from a three quarter arm slot with a long arm action. Finishes delivery on 3B side of the rubber, lacks balance with tall and fall delivery, projectable physical strength should lead to slight increases in fastball velocity. Changeup has sink with short fading action to the arm side, 1-7 sweeping curveball. Long arm action from the outfield with a projectable arm. Long swing, ball stays on barrel a long time when squared, pull approach, deep hand load. Very good student.
