Vincent Amalfitano is a 2016 OF/LHP with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Massapecqua, NY who attends St Anthonys. Medium, athletic build with lean build and present strength with some room to still fill out. Ran a 7.02 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows quick feet and attacks the ball, works over front side and through the ball. Longer arm action through back side, quick release, under throws at times, arm strength will continue to develop. Left-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance with a high hand and back elbow set. Upper body swing, line drive swing plane, shows quick hands coming through the zone with good swing path. Starts open and gets closed on time, pull side approach, shifts weight well through swing, shows patience in box with ability to use all fields. Very good student.
