Brent Culberson is a 2016 RHP/MIF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Ocean Springs, MS who attends Ocean Springs HS. Short broad shouldered build, has some present strength. Cross body delivery, long loose arm action with an extended 3/4's release point, fast arm coming through, repeats his delivery well. Fastball up to 85 mph, lots of arm side running action, primary fastball pitcher who attacks with his fastball. Shows some feel for a low 70's change up with late sinking life, Curveball still developing, loose rotation with some sweeping action, development of his breaking ball will be key for his future. Right handed hitter, aggressive long swing, swings hard and has some raw bat speed, tends to pull off the ball with his front side. Good student. Named to the Southeast Underclass Showcase Top Prospect Team.
