Kasey Gast is a 2015 LHP/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Odenton, MD who attends Annapolis Area Christian School. Medium frame with a lean wiry frame. Plenty of room to get stronger. On the mound he throws from a low 3/4 arm slot. FB has some run and sink to it and his arm slot allows him to get some swings and misses. Could stay closed with the front side a bit longer. Bulldog on the mound. In the OF he showed solid actions. Made accurate throws to 3rd and home in the workout. Hits from a balanced set up and gets down to the ball. Would like to see him stay balanced throughout his swing. Excellent student.
