Colby Schultz is a 2013 SS/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from San Juan Capistrano, CA who attends San Juan Hills HS. Slender athletic build, has some wiry strength. 7.10 runner, good footwork in the infield, quick actions with some lateral range, soft hands, quick release, shows his athleticism, arm strength more ideal at second base but playable at shortstop, also plays the outfield. Left handed hitter, short line drive swing, will hit to all fields, quick hands with some bat speed, contact approach, shows patience and an understanding of how to hit, aggressive base runner who plays hard. Very good student.
