Tyler Frye is a 2015 1B/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from West Palm Beach, FL who attends Suncoast Community High School. Has a large young build with room to add strength. Defensively, he made all plays, short easy arm action, looseness in arm, made accurate throws, can pick it at 1B. At the plate he has an open set up and displayed strength in his swing, swings hard, consistent contact and showed the ability to lift the ball. Pitched from a high 3/4 arm slot, short arm action, 11-5 curvball with 2-plane break. Tyler is also a good student.
