2005 Ohio Valley Top Prospect
John Lambert is a 2006 LHP from Chesterton H. S. in Chesterton, IN, with a 6'6'', 205 lb. frame. He's long limbed with good present strength. Lambert throws from a low 3/4's release point with a long and loose arm action. His delivery is free and loose and he gets good extension in his delivery. Lambert repeats his delivery well and does a good job throwing strikes. His fastball topped out at 85 mph with good sink and run. His curveball is 69 mph with a sweeping frisbee type of action and late, hard break. Lambert's going to be very tough on left handed hitters at the next level with his long arms, extended low release point and solid stuff. If he gets stronger and adds more velocity he could really become a high level prospect. Lambert is a good student
