Daniel Suarez is a 2013 2B with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Vega Alta, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Smaller build, some developing strength. 6.86 runner, second base actions and tools, showed good in-game actions, has range to either side, soft hands, makes plays. Right handed hitter, has some back side collapse that creates an upper cut swing plane, mid field contact, finds the barrel well, can improve with better balance. Good student.
