Cooper Edwards is a 2016 C/2B with a 5-7 170 lb. frame from Amarillo, TX who attends Tascosa HS. Short compact build, some present strength. Right handed hitter, open stance, low hand start, stays short and direct to the ball, has some strength at contact, line drive plane, hits to all fields, hits under control, contact approach. Good flexibility and quickness behind the plate, tends to stand up to throw, short arm action and compact release, 2.06 best pop time. Good student.
