Alec Nissel is a 2014 RHP with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from St Johns, FL who attends Creekside HS. Tall, lean build with great projection, going to fill out significantly. Pitches from an over the top arm slot, drifts out of his balance point at times, works very deliberately, everything looks relatively easy, calm demeanor. Much better command from the wind up. Up to 81 mph with his fastball, likes to use his changeup, shows excellent feel and command, curveball requires some tightening. Good fastball life, hides the ball well, occasional arm side run. Good student.
